Hey again y’all!! Look at this!!! Posting two nights in a row!!! Who would’ve thunk it?! LOL.. sorry, but I am in SUCH a good mood tonight!!! I just got back from my Warrior class at bootcamp and I am so proud of myself! A couple weeks ago, we did deadlifts and push presses. Now, for those that don’t know, the Warrior class is all heavy lifting and endurance training. So a couple weeks ago, my max deadlift was 225 and max push press (weights in the racked position at your shoulders, a small dip with the knees and propell the weights up over head and back to your shoulders) was 50lb dumbells. Tonight, my max deadlift was 245 and max push press was 52.9 kettlebells. 245?!?! Can you believe it?! That’s my personal best!!! Once before I was able to deadlift 240. Now, 5 more lbs isn’t much, but 20lbs more than I could do a few weeks ago is hella good!! 🙂 I wish I could’ve gone a little higher on the push press, but Ben only has 50b dumbells and then the kettlebells go from 52.9 to 61.5. 61.5 was a big jump when the 50lb dbs were hard to begin with. It’s amazing what you can do, even when it seems impossible. 🙂
Ok, I have a few pics for you tonight. To help catch up then I am off to bed! I have to be to work at 7 tomorrow instead of 8! Which means no bootcamp for me. 😦 😦
